The originators of NLP, John Grinder and Richard Bandler, created NLP by studying family therapists, hypnotherapists and other therapists working with clients to help resolve problems and make positive changes in client’s lives. 

As researchers, Grinder and Bandler observed the therapists to determine WHAT specifically the therapists were doing and HOW specifically they were doing it to identify the specific language patterns and behaviors the therapists were using to help clients.

Bandler and Grinder then created tools and techniques to model what the therapists were doing, allowing other practitioners to use the same language patterns and behaviors and replicate the same success.

However, somewhere along the way, the real magic of NLP was lost as some took NLP into areas where it was never originally intended, such as sales, marketing, business management and human resources.

The mission of Inspired Birch Academy is to return to the original intention of NLP which is what the therapists Grinder and Bandler studied were doing, helping clients resolve their problems and make positive changes in their lives.

And, as both an NLP Trainer and a Teacher and Master Practitioner of Shamanic Energy Medicine, Inspired Birch Academy courses include a knowledge that there is an energetic, emotional component tied to stories from the past which form client’s limiting beliefs.

As Healers we help clients discover and change the stories behind their limiting beliefs on a mind level and when we also create a safe space for clients to feel and release all the old emotions tied to stories from the past, the ability for clients to shift, change and heal is enhanced.
